Client Case Studies
Branding, marketing and communication is essential to every Company's ability to grow their client base. In a nutshell, it means putting that Companies name, branding, products and/or services out there in front of the general public so that people then buy from them or use their services. There are a variety of different ways this can happen, including the use of a bespoke logo and branding, advertising in print or other media, promotional displays, branded brochures and leaflets, vehicle liveries, web banner advertising or signs and signage to name but a few.
Graphic Designers plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communications problems. They consider cognitive, cultural, physical, and social factors in planning and executing designs appropriate for a given context. Sounds complicated, and it is . . . to a point. Bottom line, they get the Clients branding and message out to the public with the intention of selling said Clients products or services.
In most instances a Company will turn to an established Graphic Design Agency for help in creating bespoke solutions for their specific marketing, branding and communication needs. These Companies will already understand how important it is to project a consistent and effective view of themselves through their own branding and marketing materials. They will know that putting an effective message across to their customers is essential to continued commercial success and will also know it is vital to be one step ahead of their competitors in exciting and interesting their existing and future customers.
Two clients who see the benefit of such thinking, and whom reap the rewards of keeping all of their branding, design and print marketing requirements under the BlueFlameDesign roof are showcased below;
Dreams Come True - Refreshed corporate branding strengthens identity
Dreams Come True is a national charity serving the whole of the UK with the mission of bringing joy to children who are terminally or seriously ill by making their treasured dreams come true.
The charity's brand identity was starting to look tired and dated, and whilst having no retained designer looking after their requirements, the brands consistency became both diluted and disjointed.
BlueFlameDesign were approached to design and produce a direct mail postcard to promote the BGC Annual Charity Day at Canary Wharf. A discussion on brand strategy helped the charity to realise that a full corporate 'make-over' was needed to help raise the charities profile and elevate them above their competition.
BlueFlameDesign guided Dreams Come True through the various stages of development for their refreshed identity and branding. Whilst listening to the wants and needs of the charity it was agreed that the final logo should be a 'refreshed' version to their current design rather than a complete re-design. This would maintain an association to the current Dreams Come True brand and keep a loyalty to the current client base and volunteer network.
With a refreshed company logo that now works at varying sizes and takes in to consideration the different media applications, the next stage was to concentrate on their current marketing collateral. Methodcially the new branding was filtered through the varying items of printed literature, whilst a refreshed advertising strategy emerged helping to promote the charity further and raise their profile.
Through the design of a new corporate brochure, sponsorship forms, direct mail, event certificates, press advertising, exhibition banners and PDF guides through to a new website, Dreams Come True now have a strong, consistent and recognisable brand identity that ensures they get noticed.
